ML310 G3-Integrated SATA RAID

Hi all,
This is the first time i've used the integrated RAID. Through the BIOS, i've enable the integrated RAID, as there is no SmartArray installed. I'm creating a RAID 1 array with 2 new, blank, hard drives and it's in the process of building the array. My question is, how long does this normally take? Its been at it for about 45 mins and is at about %15. In the past when using the SmartArray it goes very quickly. Is this normal behavior for the Integrated RAID, or perhaps there is another way I should be doing this?

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
