ML310 G3-Integrated SATA RAID
Currently we have 2 80GB drives installed. We will be adding 2 250GB drives. I have plugged in the drives and the server sees them. I would like to mirror the drives.
Can I configure a secound raid array in the BIOS.
Can I do this through ILO?
I have been trying to access the SATA raid via ILO by hitting F8 when it comes up but it doesn't seem to work.
Do function keys work in ILO?
Can anyone help?

in ilo
- go to Remote console

and assign a combination of keys for F8

Re: ML310 G3-Integrated SATA RAID
That sounds like a great idea.
I want to keep the existing array and a second.
What are the steps?

Re: ML310 G3-Integrated SATA RAID
sorry about the configuration from Windows if you have a SATA RAID controller
- SCSI Models: Single Channel U320 SCSI Adapter in PCI-X slot
- SATA Models: Four Channel embedded SATA Controller
you can not use Array configuration Utility that tool only supports Smart Array Controllers
really sorry you have use the array utility from BIOS
