ML310 G4 - E200 /128 - Battery
Hello,
I'm just installing a new server with E200 SAS Raid. After booting and in the Diagnostics tool I get the message that the battery of the e200 has to be replaced. I just wonder as it is a new part - and I have quickly checked and the battery seems to be loades well. Anything else I can do before request replacement ?

Re: ML310 G4 - E200 /128 - Battery
if it's new, let the system stay ON, at least for 48 hours
BBWC first time use - 72 hours cycle for charge
check for latest firmware
check from ADU report % for battery

Re: ML310 G4 - E200 /128 - Battery
Hi,
thanks for the answers.
No - I don't have another server with E200.
I've waited now the 72 hours - and no change in status. Also updating the Controller's firmware did not change.
I can not find the % charged setting. What I see are following status fields:
Battery Count: 1
Battery Status: 0x0000
Failed Batteries: 0x0001
So I guess I've to replace the battery - or better the complete memory module.
I guess something is not working with the feedback - as there is definitely power on the battery itself...
thanks for the answers.
