Re: ML310 G5 AND SMART ARRAY P410 PROBLEM.

Replaced memory accellerator cache with new 512mb module with battery, but the same problem occur!

Are bios problem, or a controller problem? Without cache memory no problem occur!

I want test with older firmware controller!

FOUND PROBLEM!

The problem is a USB cable connect to UPS, i've disconnect this and ML310 G5 boot normally now! When i connect USB cable the boot process have problem, P410 don't start or BIOS don't recognize correctly a controller !!!

Try changing the standard boot order in RBSU and move USB after the hard disk

Re: ML310 G5 AND SMART ARRAY P410 PROBLEM.

No, i think is a BIOS of server or firmware of P410 controller problem, because when on boot the P410 are not recognized, i have to remove P410 controller, power on server without it then power off, install P410 controller then power on, and server boot correctly with P410 recognized!!!

probably BIOS rebuild a PCI IRQ assignement !!!
