ML310-G5: Fan solution not sufficient - continuous reboot
We have an ML310-G5 server with default hardware configuration: 1GB RAM, one rear fan.
When powering-on server, memory and processor test pass properly, then starts beeping and displays errors: 1611-Fan 2,3,4 failure, Fan solution not sufficient.
We have replaced the board: same issue; it is strange since that server has only one fan but on board(spare: 454510-001)there are fan connectors for 2,3,4!!!
Any help please?

....Server product number: 470064-913
Does (454510-001 Main board model) has an issue with that server product number?

Re: ML310-G5: Fan solution not sufficient - continuous reboot
I have called HP support: it was a jumper on the main board since the same board is used on two series of Proliant servers:
- J7 was installed, should be removed for ML310-G5 series: no HP service note about that !!!
Problem resolved.
