ML310 G5 SC40GE controller

Hi,

I have a ML310 G5 server with a SC40GE controller, I created the RAID using the LSI utility (pressing F8 on the POST). Everytime I reboot the server a message appears saying "Adapter Configuration may have change adapter configuration is suggested", I already try clearing the NVRAM and updating the firmware, but I'm out of ideas

but what's happening only the message or you losing the RAID level?

did you update firmware for BIOS or for SC40GE?

No the RAID level is still there, and the firmware of the controller is up to date

well you can try updating System ROM but I am think this is an simple message and does not affect server at all

The BIOS is also up to date W05 (2008.04.03) but I have others servers like this one and that one doesn't have the message, and also the performance of this server is slower than the others servers

which OS?

do you have the change to swap controllers between severs? to test

Drivers are at 7.91, but I don't think drivers can be a problem during the POST process, right? and the OS is Windows server 2k3 SBS

just wanted to know since you say performance is being affected

so the only option swap controllers
