ML310 Hangs shutting down

Every time I shut down or try to restart the server it hangs with the flashing cursor in the upper left hand corner. I have two ATA hard drives one 40 GBs (system) and the other 120 GBs (data). The operating system is Win2k Server but I think it is a hardware problem.

I got the same problem. And by starting up it takes a very long time. So if anyone got an answer to this problem I'm also interested.
