ML310 Memory Configuration for Interleaving

If currently 2x512 in slots 1 and 2
and I want to add 2x1024 in slots 3 and 4,
will this configuration support interleaving?

And, would it be better to put the new 2x1024 in slots 1 and 2, and the old 2x512 in slots 3 and 4 or does it not matter?

Hi,

The ML310 does not support interleaving. The recommended population order is slot 1,2,3 and then 4.

Hi Jim,

just make sure that the DIMMS have been populated in sequence otherwise next boot will show up a sequence error for the memory.

ML310 wont support interleaving...

you could...as long as 1 and 2 are also populated
