ML310 unable to boot from hard drive

Hello, i bought a new hp ml 310 proliant server gen 8 and i tried installing Ubuntu server 12.01 lts on the 1 telabyt sata drive. It successfully installed and after the installation it prompted to reboot the machine. After rebooting the server, it cannot boot from the hard drive, keeps getting to Attempting to boot from CD, fails and then attempts to boot from network and fails. Where am i going wrong on the installation of Ubuntu 12.01 on Hp Proliant ML 310 Gen 8 Server? Please assist.

how is the boot order and controller selection configured in BIOS?
