ML330 G2

Has anyone successfully converted a SCSI ML330 G2 to an ATA ML330 G2?

Also has anyone ever successfully loaded a client O/S such as XP or W2K Pro on a ML330 G2?

Thank you in advance

Re: ML330 G2

Hi David,

As a minimum you would need the ATA version of the feature board to replace your SCSI one. The spare part number is 245246-001.
You would then need the ATA cables and IDE drives, which should be fairly easy to get hold of.

Loading Windows 2000 Professional should be OK, XP will be more difficult but can be achieved. The Windows 2000 drivers can be found here. They will work with W2K Professional.

I hope this helps.
