ML330 G3 SCSI to ATA?

We just received two ML330 G3. We are trying without much luck to utilize the two free IDE channels on the motherboard for IDE drives together with the SCSI card. Are there really two different versions of the motherboard (scsi/ide) or do we have to change dip switches on the mobo to enable the ide drives?

Thank you

Karlw,

We are trying exactly the same without success. It seems that the motherboards or the components are different for scsi and ide otherwise I don't understand.
