ML330 options

Hi,

Would like to check if the highest HD capacity possible for an original ML330G1 (ref. 161411) would be a non hot-plug 36 GB HD ref. 177987-001 - (that I will order as spare part).

As well any recent tape drive I could install in this (internally or externally) ?

I checked the server models that can use the spare 177987-001 and i did not found ML330 model.

The highest HD i found for ML330 was 18.2GB Wide Ultra3 10k (142674-B21).

This is compatible with ML330 server and the highest capacity - 36.4-GB Wide Ultra3 SCSI 10,000 rpm Non-Hot Plug Drive (1") - 176497-B21

Spare part number: 177987-001

is the supported option.

But you can intall upto 72 Gb drive without any issues. but there is no hp doc on that.
