ML330e RAM upgrade.

Hi,

I am currently running a Proliant ML330e, recently I attempted to install extra RAM(Just generic PC133 SDRAM). When the server boots, it dosn't recognise the new RAM.
I noticed the existing RAM sticks have Compaq markings, so im assuming I need a specific type?

Does anyone know the model no: etc of the RAM I need?

I just looked at the current RAM, part of a label says:

MT9LSDT872G-133C3

I assume thats the model number?

If it is, can someone tell me if it comes in 256mb sticks?

Again, im assuming I need this specific type :)

Hello Daniel,
Here is the option P/N for the RAM you need for your server:

256-MB PC133MHz Registered ECC CL3 SDRAM DIMM Memory Option Kit (1 x 256MB) 128278-B21
512-MB PC133MHz Registered ECC CL3 SDRAM DIMM Memory Option Kit (1 x 512MB) 128279-B21

256MB=128278-B21 and
512MB=128279-B21
