I had some what a simillar problem, and updating the BIOS with the latest version correct my problem..

You have mentioned as ML 350 no generation infomration so please download latest BIOS from
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1120.html#4
where as my assumption is that you are using a ML350 g3 server.
