ML350 G 10 not showing total memory.

I've put four 16GB Dimms into an ML350 G10 with two processors.
the Dimms are in slots 8,10 for each cpu.

When the server is booting, it says 64GB total memory, 32GB available.

I've installed ESXI which also only sees 32GB.

does anyone know why I'm only seeing half the ram?

Sounds like memeory mirroing is enabled

Nice idea, but I just checked and as far as I can see there is no memory mirroring enabled.

Under memory options it is simply set to 'Advanced ECC support'.

This has been solved now, HP got back to me and went through some troubleshooting steps.

Swapping the Processors with each other did the trick, I dont know why, unless possibly one wasnt seated correctly.

The fact that the server saw 64GB on bootup threw me a little.
