ML350 G2: adpu160m parity error detected

Whenever my Proliant ML350 G2 server is rebooted, I receive several Event 5 error messages in the System Event Log with a description of "A parity error was detected on \Device\Scsi\adpu160m1". This message only appears following a reboot.

I am using a ProLiant 64-Bit/66-Mhz Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller with driver version 6.1.550.100. How do I correct this?

most SCSI errors are caused by cables and termination. So please check if cables and termination are correct. Is every pin of the cable connectors OK? Terminator well connected?
Put the Controller in another PCI-Slot, does anything change?

Thanks Sigi. I will give that a try and let you know what happens.

We checked the SCSI connections and the termination. No problems found. The contoller is on the Feature board, so I was unable to move it. I'm going to check with our TAM to see what the problem might be. This server is still under warranty.

Replaced the SCSI cable and that corrected the problem! Thanks for all your help.
