ML350 G3 PPM

Hi, does anyone know if a PPM from a ML350 G3 will work ok in an ML350 G4?

get model number of each server
enter it it will show the ppm part number , do it for each server and compare..part numbers

I know the part numbers for the respective ppm's are different i was just wondering if it would still be compatible regardless of this.

hmm darren ,
when part numbers are different parts are not interchangeable,

hp uses part numbers for compatibility, it does not even go by assembly numbers , sometimes assembly numbers are different and can still be interchanged and used but only if the part number is the same .

so rule is if part number is not the same do not use it..
