ML350 G4 Problems installing Windows 2003

Hi, i've tried for a couple of hours now, but with no luck. I've installed Linux without any problems at all, so it must be som "bugs" with Windows or my brain :S

Progress :
Booting Windows 2003 Server cd
Pressing F6 to install SCSI drivers
Inserting driver disk
Loads and install driver - verified, LSI Logic PCI fusion-MPT driver (Windows 2003 Server 32bit) - ok
Setup continues (still the blue part)
Then I get an error wich says Windows cant find any disk drives installed on my computer. :(

Well, then i've tried exactly the same thing with the Windows XP 64bit with the same result (using EMT64 drivers for 2003 64bit)

(2x73GB uSCSI 320)

Anyone that may have a solution ?
Thx in advance.

Re: ML350 G4 Problems installing Windows 2003

Trie installing the server with a smart start CD shipped with your server.

It will help you through te installation.

Make sure you array in configured. (F8)

Boot from smartstart.
Select OS.
It will ask for the OS cd after a while...

Greetzzz

Hope this helps

Where is SCSI cable connected to?
If it connected to On board SCSI controller.. Can you see all HDD from POST?
For On/board http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22559.html
You don├в t need smart start CD if no Array controller
However here is latest one 7.30

For all others controllers 6th gen

Re: ML350 G4 Problems installing Windows 2003

Is the controller you have an array controller? If so, is there an array configured? If not, how are the drives showing up during post?
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..
