Hi!
I've a ML350 G4 with a Integrated Dual Channel Ultra320 SCSI Adapter (2x HP 72GB U320 10K Universal HDD - 286714-B22), i need more disc space. Can i connect a Sata Disk in my server. (there are 2 sata connetors in the board (Sata 0, Sata 1), i already connect 1 disk 1Tb SATA II, but the server / Bios didn't recognize.
Thanks.
Mario

Solution
The disks that you have are the hot pluggable ones. You can add 4 more disks in the SCSI disk bays. (they can be of larger capacity, they don't need to be 72GB ones).

Officially there is no mention of SATA in this server model so apparently the SATA connectors that you see on the system board are not active and the SATA functionality is disabled and locked in the BIOS. Did you check the BIOS setup screen to see if there is any mention of SATA controllers that you might be able to enable?
