Re: ML350 G5 DISK ERROR
the server should have HW raid installed, and the disk should be hot-swapable. So you could replace the failed drive online.

Re: ML350 G5 DISK ERROR
Yes faulty drive of working Mirror set can be replaced online.
You can plug out the faulty hard drive and install the new hard drive.
Generally its a no pain process but backup your data for safety.
You can use following procedure if you want to:
1. Take backup and verify whether its working or not.
2. Capture ADU (Array Diagnostics utility) report of the current status.
3. Run Online Insight Diagnostics, Select Storage and run test to confirm the status of hard drive and RAID.
4. Click on the identify button in the Insight Diagnostics for faulty hard disk
5. Replace the faulty hard drive with new one
6. Check rebuilding status in ACU (Array configuration utility)
7. Wait for the rebuilding to complete then capture the ADU Report
8. Verify the status of storage again through Online Insight Diagnostics for confirmation

Re: ML350 G5 DISK ERROR
Being the first or 2nd disk does not make any difference.
The individual hard drives are hidden from Operating system, so don't worry about FAT table.
