ML350 G5 / E220i server lockups and 129 errors in eventvwr
Why does my server keep generating RAID reset events and the server lock up for a minute or so when I do anything which may be deemed "disk intensive"?
eg extracting three or more files, or multiple simultaneous large file copies on the console, or running Jetstress?
Have tried 2003 r2 x64 and 2008 x64 servers.
Config is 5 x 146Gb SFF dual port 10K drives in a RAID1 and RAID5 config, E200i with 128 RAM controller, all firmware and BIOS up to date, Softpak 8.30 (14/09) applied.
I have had a new server and disks but can't get rid of the error.
Server is to eventually be deployed as Exchange 2007 but am loathed to release into the field until I now what is causing this problem.
This is driving me nuts.
Thanks Nick

Sorry should read E200i controller.
