ML350 G5 Power Issue
This has been a long standing issue and nothing seems to fix it.
My question I guess, is there a known issue with the power supplies or something of the sort that would cause this issue?
As I say, I am stumped with this problem. We even purchaed new UPS'.

Re: ML350 G5 Power Issue
Actually there's a known issue with some types of UPS related to G5 and G6 Proliant servers. On the other side, I would like to ask you whether you have connected the power supplies directly to the wall outlet just to make sure the problem is (is not) related to these devices

Re: ML350 G5 Power Issue
The problem is that the server is redundantly protected against power spikes and outages, yet still goes down as soon as they occur.
Plugging the power supplies directly into the wall would yield the same result as that would bypass the batteries.
What is the known issue that you are referring to? Is there a fix?
They way it is now it is as though the server is not on a UPS even though it has two UPS's.
