Re: ML350 G5 & E-SATA cards
Have similar troubel on ML 350 G4. Found this: Upgrade to the latest System ROM using the ROM-BIOS / Firmware Updates web page at the following URL:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/romflash.html
Disable the "Legacy SERR for PCI Express" option in the RBSU by performing the following:
Press the F10 key during POST.
Select "Setup Utility."
Select "Advanced Options."
Select "Legacy SERR for PCI Express."
Select "Disabled."
Press the F10 key to save the configuration and exit.
But this helped on one of 2. My Ml350 G4P are still running- but my Ml350 G4 seased up.
It worked fine fore about 2 months, before it seased. But it runs fin as long as it not have any thing conected to the e-sata card. It locks up when i turn on the LaCie Bigdisk connected through the LaCie pcie e-sata card.
Hope the fix above makes you come a step further.
