ML350 G5 powersupply and fan speed

Have a Proliant ML350 G5. Some time with no reason, fan speed on powersupply goes to maximum speed. Only way to turn it of (down to normal speed) is to shut down the server and unplug power from PSU. Server room temperature is 21 degrees. Is it a powersupply failure ???

I've encountered this issue before, the only way to solve it is to swap the powersupply with a new one. The warranty should cover it.

This is sometimes also fixed by installing the proliant support pack (contains health driver that is the software control of the fans) if it is not installed.
