ML350 G5 will not work with KVM EO1010

I have just installed a new ML350 G5 in a rack and attached it to an HP EO1010 KVM and I am unable to see anything on the monitor or use the keyboard and mouse. when the server is selected from the menu the KVM freezes until I disconnect it from the server. Any ideas please? is it to do with the iLO2?

with the KVM port where the server is connected selected, restart the server and do not move to another port until the the server finishes booting.
