Hai we have ML350 G5 SERVER 3nos. it is working fine. our IT manager he wants to be two server for another project . so i am going to install VMware Software . i have doubt about which edition can i install . and also i am going to merge total two server O.S and Data . how can i do it. O.S mean like Image it is possible ?

hi,

acrually, lot of people using a Vmare, ist greate, if you have ESX server but its very expensive, if you like tu use ESXi = free, in this case i would prefer citrix xen server.

There are some tool how to convert physical to virtual = P2V ( Vmware = vconvert )

if you install xen server you will be able to migrate the installed system on you server, more :

Boss Thanks for replay me.

I am telling you our envirament Details.

We have 3 Servers ML350 G5

1. Domain Server
2. Account
3. Programmer ( Testing Purpose )

now our IT manger he wants 2 server for another project purpose.
now i am going to merge Account & programmer Server . merge with our Domain.

now i am going to make a image both server through Acronis Software.
After that i am install WMware software the past that Image .i have doubt is it working ?
or how can i implement this steps .
