ML350 G6 2 processors RAM handling
Using ML350 G6, 2 processor machine. Is it configurable how many RAM is dedicated to which processor? If yes how (BIOS, plugging dimms into appropriate slots, etc.)?
What's the performance impact if you dedicate 1x8GB module per processor in compare with 8x1GB module dedication?

Re: ML350 G6 2 processors RAM handling
this shows max config for 2 processors
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/13241_na/13241_na.html
if you sue 1x8 you limit possibilities to expand as you have used many slots ,
there is no other differance or impact speed wise ,
so for expandability larger GB dimms are preffered
This is how we thank each other in the forum
