ML350 G6 BIOS Battery
I recentaly relocated a four year old ML350 G6. It failed to boot following the total power down, and it transpired that the BIOS had been reset. Once that and the BIOS clock was sorted, it booted fine.
Is it OK to replace the BIOS battery with the system powered and running, or do I need to shut it down again?
Thanks

Re: ML350 G6 BIOS Battery
Hi Andy,
You would need to power down and unplug the power cord to avoid any accidental ESD or damage to any other components.
Regards,
