ML350 G6 - DOWN!!!
Our proliant ML350G6 was "dead" this morning.
When I insert the power cable, the "System Power LED" is amber. When I press the power button the system tries to start. The system fans starts, but after a few secons they stops again, this happens three times. And then the "Health" led is flashing red.
If you look at the system board, there are 8 LEDs between the power connector and the "DIMM leds" they are marked CR1-CR8, I guess that these are diagnostic LEDs. When the "Health" led on the front starts flashing, the two LED marked CR7 and 8 starts flashing.
These 8 LEDS is not mentioned in the Maintenance and service guide anywhere.
Does anyone know what they mean?
I guess that I need to ordre a new system board, but I would like to be sure.

Re: ML350 G6 - DOWN!!!
I would check the logs from iLO if possible first, together with the other diag LEDs on the board, e.g. processor, power, fans, etc.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ML350 G6 - DOWN!!!
If you have changed the motherboard then there must be some component that did not get replaced. Memory, CPU, Raidcontroller Battery or an extra NIC and so on.
Try starting the server with minimal config and go from there. if you are successfull you add a little bit more config at a time and then you'll find out whats making the server not boot properly.
