ML350 G6 memory Speed

Brand new ML350 G6 470065-163. Xeon 5504 (2000/800-4MB) Quad Core

The supplied 2GB module has been removed, and 3 x 4GB 1333, 500658-B21 are installed in Slots A, B, and C.

Booting the config / diag CD, the diagnostics shows a memory speed of 667.

I would have expected this to be 800?

Am I correct?

TIA

Re: ML350 G6 memory Speed

BIOS is latest 23/01/2010.

Can't see anything in the BIOS to config mem or CPU.

No OS installed yet so memtest will have to wait.

Is it OK to do BIOS restore defaults just in case?

Re: ML350 G6 memory Speed

the attatchment shows bios memeory options which can be changed , but as i say memtest is flaky so do not rely on that alone..
