I would like to know if I can upgrade the CPUs in a ML350 G6 server. The server currently has installed two 5520 CPUs and I would like to upgrade them to the 5630 CPUs. Can this be done or do I need a different system board to support the 5600 series?

SolutionHi,
ProLiant ML350 G6 supports both the CPU's but there were two system boards, one which supports only 5500 series and the other one which supports 5500 and 5600 series processors.
System board Part# 511775-001 for systems using Intel 5500 series processors
System board Part# 606019-001 for systems using Intel 5500 and 5600 series processors
