ML350 Gen9 SSD amber, but ILO is ok
Hi
One status led of an SSD in a raid1 array is amber, but the ring is also "turning" in amber and ILO shows no error (general and storage).
Any ideas?

Its no an NVMe Drive.
Drive Status is solid amber and Activitiy ring is rotating amber....

As per specs, the ring cannot rotate in Amber, it will be green.

Please check/share the IML error.
Suspected hard disk is predicated failure.(it will fail soon)
I would suggest, you have to log a proper case with HPE, and share the appropriate logs for further analysis.

The ring and the status leds are definitely amber. But ILO says its all ok, no IML error... no predictive failure or similar. Server rebooted no change.
Is it possible that the leds have only the wrong color?

Server or hard disk LED never gives wrong information.
It will be very difficult to isolate the issue without the logs and IML error.
I would suggest, you have to log a proper case with HPE, and share the appropriate logs for further analysis.
