Hi, i want to take out the cpu and put it to the other socket that mb has..Do i have to do something because when i did that, server starts but i dont see any picture on the monitor.

hi,

why you should do it ??? I think if you have only one CPU inside The proliant server there is a fixed position where should be placed.

if you move cpu you should move also the power module on motherboard.

i get the mesage error 1611 fan status and from what i can see there is a damaged (burned) capasitor near to the position where i connect the power cords of the cpu fan..so i connect the power cords to the other cpu's fan power source and the fan is working but the server goes off
what can i do else?
is there anyway to bypass the emergency power off because of error mesage 1611?...

is it possible to take a data back up from a 350 ml proliant server that does not power up?

hi,

i thinks you could move the disks to another server and try to boot the system and make the backup.
