Has anyone experienced fried power supplies on ML350 servers?

Re: ML350 Power Supply

Is this the original ML350? Or the G2? Or the G3?

I'm not aware of any problems with the G3 power supplies.

For the G2 power supply, I would recommend going to the main support page, then search on this:

Re: ML350 Power Supply

Over 2 dozen here (original ML350). Since then we have stayed FAR away from the ML350 and any lower models.

It was especially bad when they were on backorder, so customers were getting a little angry when 3 of his branches went down.

Thanks for the info guys, This is basically to determine the percentage of our installations that may have a problem.

Re: ML350 Power Supply

Plenty of problems here. Our problems are that the power supply switches itself off and we have to switch it back on again via Remote Insight. Occurs on about 20 servers. Despite replacing the PSU it STILL happens!!

Re: ML350 Power Supply

I just rolled out 105 ML 350 G2's. I have had 4 power supplies fail.

I also have had 45 servers randomly been found powered off, to which we can power back up without raplacing the power supply.

They were all istalled with SS 5.5.
