ML350 SCSI Support
What drives will the ML350 support? We need to upgrade the hard drives for space reasons, but would like to leave the controller alone.

Re: ML350 SCSI Support
Hello Laura,
Which generation of ML350 do you have. The link for G2 and G3 is appended:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/proliantml350/description-g3.html#quickspecs
This will tell you as to what the server supports. The specs are at the very end of the page.
Regards,

Re: ML350 SCSI Support
A comlete list of fixed and hot pluggable drives is here http://www.e4servicesinc.com/comhotplugdr.html
but with out know your existing configuration (RAID or non-RAID, Fixed or Hot Plug) it is impossible to say. The only quick answer is if the new drive is to join a RAID group, them the drive needs to be the same size or greater. If you have standalone drives, then you can use any size drive. Give us a call on monday
