ML350 Server Showing 2 Processors when only 1 exists
Also, the utilization is showing a constant erroneous 50 to 60% when it should really only be 0 to 10%.
I understand there is a patch or driver update I can apply. It here anyone out ther who has heard of this problem, and might know how to resolve it?
Any help would be greaty appreciated.

Re: ML350 Server Showing 2 Processors when only 1 exists
This is due to the CPU hyperthreading enabled. Where as update the BIOS to see any change in the behaviour.
But is due to COU Hyperthreading.

Re: ML350 Server Showing 2 Processors when only 1 exists
I downloaded the latest BIOS update and installed it. The monitor screen in Novell still showed 2 processors and high utilization.
I tried shutting off hyper-threading and the processors showed 1, but then the utilization stayed at 100%.
Any other ideas?

Take a read of: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?locale=en_US&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=316529&prodTypeId=15351&objectID=PSD_EN030703_CW01
Not sure if this is the issue...

Re: ML350 Server Showing 2 Processors when only 1 exists
You may want to try SP4:
http://support.novell.com/servlet/filedownload/pub/nw6sp4.exe
Here's the link for server updates:

Make a great day!
