ML350 Server

We have ML350G5 Server . windows2008 server E200i Array controller Raid5 it has 3 hdd. now my C drive space problem it has only 2GB so we had decided add one additional hdd. i have doubt how can implement and enlarge hdd C drive Space And also ACU how we will enlarge the drive size pls any one help me

hi,

before you start to expand the space on HW raid, you should backup your system and data.

them you could try to expand the raid5 on HW level, ( check with the documentation if its possible ), and if you have Windows 2008 server, go to server ==> manage ==> storage management ( all drives are dybanic ) so you will be able to resize online the C-drive.

and because you have raid5 alredy configured :

RAID 5 (Distributed Data Guarding)

you should be able to expand the raid.
