ML350 and a Netgear WAG311

Have a small 4 station network at home. One WS wired the rest Wireless to Netgear WGT624.

Server room is in the basement. Internet router and connection are on the second floor.

Want to add a Win 2003 server in the basement via a wireless card. Tried to install a Netgear WAG311 which is a 108mb wireless card. The ML 350 continues to reboot itself and Win 2003 will not start. Remove the card and the server boots up fine.

I am trying to do something that isn't impossible? Is anybody doing this with some other 108mb wireless devices?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Jim,
I have seen a similar kind of behaviour when the system bios is not uptodate. First thing you want to do is remove the Addon Card. Update the system bios if it's not done already. Then reinstall the addon Card. Upon reboot go to F10 or F9 depending upon the generation of your server. Run system configuration then you should be good to go.
Regards,
