ML350 and additional parallel

I am trying to install a pci parallel card to support a second printer with sco 5.0.7 as the os. When the card is installed the system will hang up when it tries to recognize the ISA parallel port that came with the system. I have tried all kinds of parallel port configurations and the card continues to cause problems. Are there any suggestions?

Re: ML350 and additional parallel

Hi

Looks there is some IRQ setting clash. Can you make sure that the IRQ'S are not clashing on the BIOS.

Hi

You can try to disable the ISA parallel port and then install this card to make sure that this card is working fine.

Re: ML350 and additional parallel

I have changed IRQs to multiple settings. I have removed all ISA ports and tried to install the PCI card. I have removed all parallel ports and all combinations that I can think of. Could there be a conflict with the brand of card? I have used different cards, but all from the same manufacturer.
