ML350 and proper RAM?

ML350, first generation, circa year 2000

Researching RAM for this server and at Crucial's Web site found the following: #CT279002, 512MB, SDRAM, PC133, Registered, ECC, 133Mhz, 3.3v, 64Meg x 72

Intended use is for two (2) of these modules in slot 1 and 2, then use existing 128 modules in slots 3 and 4.

Sound good?

Re: ML350 and proper RAM?

Hi Mike

I would run the existing RAM in slots 1,2.

That way if there are problems with the RAM in terms of speed it will default to the speed in Slot 1, if this server does vary its memory bus speed, but the memory you have there seems adequate for your requirements.

The equivalant official HP/Compaq part number is 128279-B21.
