ML350 g3 ACPI-Problem

If i shutdown my ML 350 g3 Server with (Windows Server 2003 German), i will receive the message "it's now safe to turn off your computer".

I wan't that the server will turn off automaticaly if i shutdown it.

What version of the bios do you have installed on the server... version 2003.01.08 had some ACPI problems.

This doesn't solve the Problem. i have updated both, the bios and the driver, but the Server doesn't Power off after shutdown.

is your problem solved?
i got the same in windows 2000.


for windows 2003 there is an service-fix on the hp-site.

see support and drivers.

Hi,

No it will get not solved after that update for. Even when there is a power failure and you want server to restart automatcally when power comes. That is also not going to happen. there are certain thing you cannot go out of the box and try out.
BIOS update anyhow is not a solution.
