ML350 processor

Hi,

Can I install processor in ML350 G6 (492239-B21)
I have a single processor machine due to processor fail i have remove this processor in this machine n claim this processor
to hp.

I have another processor in stock
HP DL380 G6 Intel® Xeon® E5520 (2.26GHz/4-core/8MB/80W) Processor Kit
492239-B21


can i use this in ML350G6

492239-B21 is a kit,including processor and can be used in ML350G6.

You can used the original Fan in ML350G6 since only processor is bad.

As per quickspecs, Processor option kit for both the servers are different.

Processor Spare part no in both the Processor option kit is the same. So if you just want to use the processor you can use it without any problem.

I would replace the fan at the same time. They are not that expensive.
