ML350G4 servers and NT4

Hi all,

I have just taken delivery of 2 of the above servers and whilst I really want to put Win 2K3 on them, I have to install NT4 on them for a few months in order to comply with an ongoing project!

now my question is how on earth can you get NT4 on them - Smartstart 7.2 does not support and NT4 install and a manual install creates a BSOD during the installation everytime!

Has anyone else seen this before?

NT4 is not supported on this server.

i thought as much, but surely there must be a way of getting it on there?

If I know, G4 chipset is not supported (not working) on NT4.
