ML350G4P upgading memory 2GB + 2GB

Hi, in a Proliant ML350 G4P with 1GB RAM (2x512MB in slot 1&2) I want adding memory, so I buyed 2x2GB HP certified memory and I've replaced the two original DIMM (always in slot 1&2) ... during boot, the server recognizes only 2GB memory (even I mount only one DIMM): the DIMM are both working, but I don't know HOW see 4GB ... have you any suggestion ??

Hi Ettore,
It seems that only single memory module of 2GB is recognized (working).
Please check both the memory modules one by one.
4 GB memory should be detected on POST if both the memory modules are working
Do let us know the outcome and also the part number of memory modules if possible
