ML350G5 NIC stucking
i have ML350G5 server, i added another NIC nc32oT, OS:windows server 2003 SP2
i have problem with NIC stucking, it seems connected but there is no respone until i disable then enable the nic.
i tried to update the BIOS, NIC farmware, NIC Driver, but the same problem.
i replaced the nic with new one, but the same problem, and tried another nic model nc110t and the same problem too.
is the problem in the windows OS, or i must replace the motherboard!!!

Re: ML350G5 NIC stucking
Is this on a specific slot or on all available slots ?? & If all the Firmware & drivers are updated, issue may be with the System board.
Regards.

Re: ML350G5 NIC stucking
:)
There is one other thing that you can try before replacing the system board.
Try the same NIC cards on other server & see if this happens there. If it does not get STUCK on the other server... then its the SYSTEM BOARD that needs to be replaced for sure.

Happy Dude !

Re: ML350G5 NIC stucking
Off late, Many Networking issues due to new drivers. I am AMUSED & confused too!!
try:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/networking/us/download/28013.html
Or
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/networking/us/download/26851.html
I will bet my money on the Second Driver.
Regards.
