ML350G5 with 72GB SAS drives. Need a cloning/back solution.

We are running the SCO OperServer 5 OS.

Are there anyone out there using a reliable backup procedure?

The first method we tried was G4U. The copying of the drive seems to be okay. But the duplicate will not boot. It seems the HP controller may be tagging the hard drive based on the slot it sits in. If the original drive is in slot 1 and the cloned drive is in slot 2, we cannot get the system to boot in either location.

If booted from slot 2, the data on the disk seems to fail because it wants to be in slot 1. If we move it to slot 1, HP retags the drive and essentially blank the disk.

Does that make sense?

Today, we tried to use Ghost 11.5. Can't get the boot CD to work. It just won't boot. Tried all 4 OS options.
