ML350G6 SFF combined with LFF drive cage - how to get LEDs working?
Hi together,
we have the SFF variant of the ML350G6 running with 3 SFF drives. Additionally we use two LFF SAS drives in the optional LFF drive cage. The Y-SAS cable has been used to connect the LFF drive cage, thus only 6 SFF drives are actually available but this doesn't matter. The point is that the LED cable supplied with the LFF drive cage cannot be connected to the standard SFF cage ad there is no connector for external LEDs. This is why the LEDs of the LFF SAS drives don't work.
Is there any chance to get them working?

Re: ML350G6 SFF combined with LFF drive cage - how to get LEDs working?
The number you mentioned is the spare part number and yes, this is the number of the cable. The PN is 537727-001. The cable is a ribbon cable with a 12 pin connector at both ends, one pin being blocked. Following the installation manual it shall be connected to the 6 LFF cage (which is not installed in our server as it uses the 8 SFF cage).
