ML370 Boot Sequence
Hi, sorry for the dumb question, but I am not into Proliant that much. I have to fix a almost broken RAID5 and would like to boot from an additional ide drive to access the data on the RAID. I can boot from the cd, using SmartStart or Knoppix but seem to be unable to boot from the attached ide drive, be it master or slave to the cd. Can you please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance!

Re: ML370 Boot Sequence
Hi,
during POST press F9 to go in RBSU.
Under choose : "HP integrated PCI IDE controller".
Then go in Standard Boot Order(IPL) and choose "Hard Drive". Save & Exit and reboot.
The system must boot from the HDD attached to the IDE controller...
Regards,
Pac

Hi
under "boot controller order" choose "integrated IDE controller", I missed that in previous post.
