ML370 G2 1.4Ghz Blue screens during NT Install

Smartstart 5.3 ML370 G2 1.4ghz 2GB RAM -3disk Raid using 5300 Raid Controllier - during Nt install, after selecting Services for Macintosh, just as the network is started , get a blue screen KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED tcpip.sys. This ONLY happens on the new 1.4ghz Dual cpu machines using Smartstart 5.3. It has done it on all 10 machines we have.
The temporary workaround is not to load SFM during the install but add it later but this causes other problems so we need to know why this combination gives a blue screen.
Anyone else seen this problem ?

When installing network components, do you also install the standard Intel driver provided by NT ? If yes, this will cause blue screen
Only select the Compaq Fast Ethernet driver under NT

I ALWAYS use the Compaq Fast Ethernet Driver. I do NOT use the Intel one.
