ML370 G2 Virtual Power Button
I installed RILOE2 board in the server but cannot seem to locate if this server has a virtual power button connection on the motherboard. I have checked the motherboard over and over then also researched all over the HP website to see it could point me in the right direction but no luck.
Trying to find if this server motherboard has the connection.
Thanks
D Buford

Re: ML370 G2 Virtual Power Button
Hi,
For ProLiant ML370 G2 "RILOE II Supported Server PCI Slot" is Slot 6.
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/riloe2/server-slot-matrix.html
ProLiant ML370 Generation 2 Server Setup and Installation Guide
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/supportinformation/techpubs/installation_guides/203510-001.pdf
Refer to Page#150 (7-10) it will tell you where to connect the power cable.
RiLOE Virtual Power Button Cable is attached to the system board connector labeled "Virtual PB". It should be at the corner of the system board next to the power switch connector and the floppy diskette drive connector.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
I work for HPE.
